On Beato & Beatrice Wood

Beatrice Wood — the "Mama of Dada" — was an artist, ceramic sculptor, and unapologetic force who lived to 105, crediting her longevity to chocolate and young men. She settled in the Ojai Valley in 1947, calling it the "Valley of the Moon." Her ceramic moon face mold, created in her hilltop Ojai studio, now lives on in Beato's 72% dark chocolate sculpture. Beato Chocolates carries her spirit forward: Wellness. Creativity. Pleasure.

On the GARA Collaboration

The In the Garden bar is a collaboration between Beato Chocolates and GARA Skincare — the same makers whose botanical hydrosols we use in sessions for pain regulation and sensory grounding. Black sage, foraged in the hills of Central California and distilled by GARA in Ojai, is known for its calming and nourishing properties. When you take this bar home, you're carrying the same botanical thread that ran through your session.
