The Shared Drift

The Return to Center

For over a decade, I worked in the complex realities of crisis services and recovery. It was there I learned a quiet, essential truth: The body often knows how to settle long before the mind is ready to catch up.

While talking helps us understand our stress or traumatic histories, it is the interruption of that stress—the physical descent into stillness—that truly restores us.

I bring my background in trauma-informed care to every session, not to analyze your day, but to ensure this space is predictably safe and entirely yours.

We aren’t here to solve the noise of life—we’re here to step out of it.

The Shared Drift

Drift State was founded on the belief that relief from chronic tension and stress is a vital necessity, not a luxury—especially for those moving through the world's most difficult spaces. We recognize that systemic stress requires a systemic response.

Our equity frameworks are built to bridge the gap between high-level therapeutic care and the people who need it most. We believe that restorative bodywork should be accessible to those navigating the road of recovery and survival, as well as the caregivers whose labor sustains our city.

We offer a standing 15% monthly discount in recognition of these journeys.

Rose Andom Center

Drift State is a dedicated resource for the Rose Andom Center, providing survivors and advocates with a streamlined path to therapeutic massage. We recognize that the body often holds what the mind is not ready to speak. We provide a safe harbor for the physical processing of stored tension and the reclamation of physical agency.

Healing in Recovery

Massage therapy provides essential support during early sobriety, helping to stabilize the nervous system and re-establish a healthy connection to the body. At Drift State, we offer a specialized, trauma-informed environment for those in substance abuse recovery to find physical relief and mental clarity.

Honoring Community Caregivers

At Drift State, we honor those whose daily work is rooted in compassion and community service. Our commitment to accessibility extends to employees of 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, acknowledging the physical and emotional toll of mission-driven labor.
