The Shared Drift

Denver Resilience through Wellness

Located in the Civic Center district, adjacent to the Denver Art Museum and within easy reach of downtown businesses, we offer a dedicated sanctuary for recovery. Tucked away on the third floor of the historic Evans School, our studio provides a tranquil, key-code-secured environment removed from the bustle of street-level retail and restaurants.

Collaborative Frameworks

Building Organizational Resilience

Drawing from a professional background in trauma-informed care and crisis services, Drift State is uniquely equipped to partner with mission-driven organizations.

We provide dedicated care designed to support both the frontline staff experiencing compassion fatigue and the client populations they serve.

We offer individually led tours of our Evans School studio and collaborative program coordination for interested nonprofits and healthcare-aligned institutions, including custom session rates and print materials for your staff that make our care more accessible to your community.

Tailored, Client-Led Care

A Quiet Bracket for Recovery

We believe recovery requires a space as intentional as the care itself. By curating every element of your session-from the environment and technique to botanical support-we create a 'quiet bracket' that reduces the noise of the modern world.

This client first approach allows those experiencing trauma, burnout, or sensory sensitivity to finally drop their guard and achieve rest.

All clinical enhancements, such as cupping or heat therapy, are integrated into one transparent, gratuity-free price so your focus stays entirely on the work of restoration.

Individual Eligibility

Drift State offers a standing 15% monthly discount for individual clients in addition to our program partnerships. No documentation is required—we trust in the integrity of our clients.

Access the program by entering code Equity15 when reserving your session.

Healing in Recovery

Massage therapy provides essential support during early sobriety, helping to stabilize the nervous system and re-establish a healthy connection to the body. We offer a trauma-informed environment for those in recovery to find physical relief, mental clarity, and to rebuild the routine of self-care.

Honoring Community Caregivers

We honor those whose daily work is rooted in compassion and community service. The Shared Drift rate extends to employees of Denver based 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, acknowledging the physical and emotional toll of mission-driven labor.

Current Partnership Focus Areas

Drift State is a dedicated resource for the Rose Andom Center, providing survivors and advocates with a streamlined path to therapeutic touch. We provide a safe harbor for the physical processing of stored tension and the reclamation of physical agency.

A Legacy of Care

Before it was restored as a home for local businesses and neighborhood life, the Evans School was a radical experiment in civic compassion. Built in 1904, the building emerged as a national pioneer in the late 1920s by establishing Denver’s first "Day School" for deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

At a time when children with specialized needs were typically sent away to distant institutions, the Evans School allowed them to stay home, ensuring children remained visible, valued members of their community while receiving the care they required.

The Shared Drift was established to ensure the Evans School remains a space of true community support.
